CSPS is the Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences advocates for excellence in pharmaceutical research, promotes the allocation of research funds, seeks involvement in decision and policy making processes and provides a forum for early scientists.

JPPS is the official journal of CSPS

The Journal of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (JPPS) is a broad-spectrum, peer-reviewed, international pharmaceutical journal. JPPS was the first open access journal in the field established in 1998 and aims to be the leading journal in the fields of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences by publishing open access premier research. The published archive of JPPS (volumes 1-10) can be found here.

About the journal

25 years ago, JPPS started publishing online in an open access format - the first open access journal in its field. While publishing privately by the Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Journal grew to the point where it needed a more sophisticated operation to continue. Frontiers has provided such a platform. The Journal currently has an impact factor of 2.9, a testament to its quality. The collaboration with Frontiers will further elevate the Journal's position as a first class forum for the publication of high quality papers.
